Frank Austin is a nonprofit advocate who is committed to empowering the communities of Shalom zones around the City of Macon. He works to strengthen the community by developing neighborhood revitalization, informative workshops, and other service opportunities that service the Shalom sector.
In 2012, he founded Austin Smith Center for Community Development, to help Village Green Shalom Zone deal with economic disadvantages, and navigate transition. Since then, he has helped the Shalom Zones, and numerous organizations deal with their most pressing challenges, whether it is rehabilitation, or cleaning projects. Frank facilitates board meetings and strategic planning retreats for his organization.
